Planetary correspondence for Lavender

Why do we work with planetary correspondence?

Planetary Essences use Astrology as an essential aspect of their creation. To create a planetary herbal essence, we first need to determine what planet our herb matches. We call this match the planetary correspondence of the herb. Suggestions concerning this placement may differ from person to person. I take the number of sources that agree on the same advice for the particular herb and go with that.
The goings-on in the Solar system affects matters down here on Earth. Of that, we cannot deny. The planets radiate energy, however subtle. This radiance affects terrestrial material down here on Earth. As an example, the Moon affects the flow of the tides. The Sun influences all growth or death of life here. Why do we suggest then that the other possible planetary influence have little to no effect upon us? Maybe because we don't feel these effects. We only see a minuscule portion of the light scale; the rest has little impact upon us, or so we perceive, but that does not alter the fact that science posits that this unseen portion of the spectrum still exists.

We start work on the individual stages of the Essence using the planetary correspondence. First of all, the chosen herb has a correspondence to a planet. The first thing we need to do is to find this planet. Let's say we are working with Lavender as our example. Mercury and or Moon govern Lavender. When we say Govern, we could also say influence. So Mercury or the Moon influences Lavender. So we're off to a good start in finding this initial information. All plants have this information; however, for some, the data is more challenging to locate. If we have access to an Ephemeris or Astrological software, it will tell us a good deal of information on where the planets are residing at any given moment. If we're lucky, it will have the planetary hours of the day too. Now ill discuss the planetary hours in a later post. For now, we will get the basic ideas down. So now we have our software or ephemeris, we can work out where the Moon or planets are and start the work when the planet or Moon " the influences we will be attracting to our herb " are in a good position with no detrimental energies influencing them. If you're new to this, it is going to be a lot to chew at first. In time I will explore every aspect of this work so you too can work and follow on in the footsteps of skilled lab operators.

The planetary correspondence chart above shows, how each day has a planet governing it. So the most straight forward way to start out creating an Essence would be to start our work on that particular day on the hour. Planetary hours also divide up the days into specific times, just like the days of the week. Sunday, as the Sun is rising, is the Sun hour. Likewise for Monday, Tuesday, etc. From this, we can see how we could start working with Planetary essences by choosing the day and hour of the planet matching our herb. And begin the work on these times. Adding prayer-colored candles incense would gradually build up our creation to make it quite specific to the Planetary energy in question.
