The elements begin to fuse. The heat of incubation coagulates the three essentails of salt, sulphur & Spirit. The stones begins to physically look different in quality. The signs are showing that the process is working. We can make these stones in various ways.
The journey into making Alchemical Lavendar Herbal Stones of which I have made numerous, is interesting and an extremely rewarding endeavour.
The process begins with picking the suitable herb. From a pollution free zone we crop our Lavendar. We may use astrological timings for this process. It is said whilst harvesting we do not wnat the Lavendar to touch the ground. So place it in a suitable vessel.
If we wish to keep the more subtle essences of the plant we immediantly take it to the lab or place of work and immerse in good auality clean spirit pre prepared or water or vinegar. However should we choose, we can dry the herb slowly. Approx forty degrees is good in a dehumidifier or oven. We should be careful to not overcook or burn the herb or subtle essences will be destroyed.
Either way this is our starting matter from which we will extract the three essentials. A salt, a sulphur and a spirit. Obtaining the true spirit is a complex and risky unless knowledgable in pyrolytic distillation, which uses extremely high temperatures.
Immersing the Lavendar in a good a spirit of wine, or other suitable solvent works very well and makes good stone medicines.
Dependant upon the process we choose, will use the extraction method should use good quality materials. Vinegar or/and water are also suitable solvents and make excellent Lavendar Herbal Spagyric Stones.
We can make our own vinegar, water or spirit solvents and I will share more on these processes in future posts.
The method is straightforward, ways of working the method are numerous. Either way we take our three refined essentials of salt, sulphur and spirit and join them, to coagulate the herbal stone into a solid or semi solid mass.
Dosing as a medicine for health requires extremely small doses as the Alchemical herbal stones are potent substances and extreme care should be taken to dilute the dose with good quality water or spirit of choice.
The water work is a completly different subject but the rules always apply. That is, take our matter and remove all that is unnecassary basically called the dross or faeces, caput and other names.
All Alchemical work be it with the body laboratory, the mind laboratory or the labwork "glasswork and fire" all abide by the same set of rules. Solve et Coagula separate and combine or coagulate. Remove what is not needed for the work and join everything that is. When meditatednover this is a transformation process, we could say a process of evolution.
Ultimately it is not as there are no things to evolve, all potential, all possibility already resides in the all. We as Alchemists need to coax out the possibility and theough the Great Work bring aspects of what is possible to fruition. We may term this evolution or not, as I state this is a concept within the mind state, also the all possibility or potential. Segregating, into conceptual bisases through words is how we communicate, how the human mind body conjunction navigates the realm of the physical. So remember, ultimately, it is not words or concepts but something which is paradoxically not a thing. The secret fire of the Alchemists is beyond what you or I can control, it is however what we harness to create what is before our eyes at this very moment.
